Script for Promotional Video

Grooms on Time specializes in offering our chauffeur driven cars not only for the bride but for the groom too, with a fantastic choice of two and four seater cars to choose from to ensure that you arrive in style at the church or venue. For the bride we have our S-Type and Mark II Jaguars and for the groom two identical E-Types and an XK140. We also offer a surprise service where the bride can book one of these cars to surprise her groom on the special day.

Florence is a S Type Jaguar and is one of the Bridal cars on offer. She has a sumptuous leather interior and walnut veneer dash to ensure the bride arrives in style.

We offer a professional and friendly service with smartly dressed drivers who will strive to make sure that your day is special.  We understand that everyone's wedding is unique and so offer a flexible service tailor made for your day.  All our cars are maintained to a high standard and come with ribbons and bows and a complimentary bottle of champagne in the bridal car for the onward journey to the reception.
Grooms on Time only take on one wedding at a time to ensure that you and your guests can have photographs with the cars without being rushed.
We generally operate within a 20 mile radius of the business, covering much of Warwickshire, Leicestershire and Northamptonshire.

Our iconic E-Type Jaguar TYP3 E is the grooms' favourite.  With a V12 engine and the perfect combination of red bodywork and chrome wire wheels, this is guaranteed to make your groom's day.

Often booked as a surprise by the bride to give her husband-to-be a treat for his journey to the church or venue.

Louie is our 1964 Mark II Jaguar - like the 'Inspector Morse' car. He compliments Florence beautifully as our second bridal car which can be used to take the bridesmaids too.

Louie can also be booked to take the groomsmen as he can seat up to four people.

Our second E-Type, TYP 12E is also a V12 Jaguar in identical colour to TYP3 E and therefore is perfect for taking the groom and best man separately to the wedding in convoy which guarantees the wow factor on arrival. This car also has chrome wire wheels, with leather interior and additionally has a sunroof for warmer Summer days.

Day 1 Filming analysis

                                                                         Equipment:
Canon DLSR
Tripod
Dolly
Camera Slider

This filming session didn't go as well as planned due to constant changes in the lighting. Due to these changes most of my footage was overexposed. I still managed to film the interior of two out of four of the cars, as two were at events. Going forward I am going to edit what I already have to see if I can fix/use what I have already filmed and then arrange another date to film the rest of the cars exteriors and interiors.

Another problem I had was that the camera slider I was using was to short to reach from the back of the car to the front seats, therefore I have had to adapt how I used the slider. I instead slid the camera from one side of the backseat to the other to show of the car's leather seats.

Interior Shot Log

The client has asked me to film the interior's of the cars to inform the video audience how many seats are in each car so that they can see which of the cars is the right one for their wedding.
I have decide to use a camera slider to slide the camera from the outside of the car to the inside and then along the interior to create a virtual tour of the car.I will then slide the camera from the back of the car to the front. I will also be attaching labels to the different sections of the interior to point out and inform the audience of the cars main features.

Code.org Promotional video analysis

This promotional video for Code.org focuses on a teaching school children how to code on computers. The mode of address is professional but also more friendly than formal as the aim of the video is to inspire and show children that coding is fun. The selling point of this video is the star power that they have collaborated with to create the video. Bill Gates, Mark Zuckerberg and other people that created something very successful in the IT world as well as an appearance by Will.I.Am telling us that "Coders are rockstars" ensures that the children will be drawn in and want to learn how to code themselves.

Apple MacBook Promotional Video

This promotional video for the MacBook by Apple uses the codes and conventions of a Production launch/marketing promotional video. The use of the voiceover rather than the often cheesy presenter ensures that the customer/ viewer of the video is receiving the information about the product that they need whilst also seeing the product and its features. The mode of address of the video is formal however the target audience for this video is a wide range of people so instead of just using jargon, that part of its more technically savvy might understand, they also break the information down into simple explanations that everyday people will understand.

Exterior shots Mood Board

These are the cars that I will be featuring in my promotional video. I will be using long shots to show the full car because the branding itself is the classic Jaguar car. This means that I don't need to use any additional branding.
